Vacation Bible School 2019
Join us for VBS 2019. This year we will be experience the Word of God through the Whooosh VBS curriculum. Whooosh VBS is an exciting journey where everyone will experience God’s power, presence, and steadfast love!
This program celebrates how throughout the Bible, monuments are built to remember what God has done in the lives of God’s people, from angels that go up and down a ladder-WHOOOSH–to a river whose water stands up–WHOOOSH–to let God’s people cross over on dry land! Guided by six Church Kids, who by faith, take flight–WHOOOSH-on Holy Spirit-powered bicycles, participants will move across country, starting with the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C., to experience God’s power, presence, and steadfast love, through pick-up games, spontaneous shows and interactive art, music and craft activities.
Theme Verse: By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was going to receive as an inheritance. He went out without knowing where he was going. (Hebrews 11:8, CEB)
